About Me

Hello, and welcome to Wellness With Fatima!

I am Fatima, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Mexican-American therapist and daughter of immigrants. I was born and raised in San Francisco, and have been residing in Santa Cruz for the past seven years.

I have been in the mental health field for nearly 10 years, primarily working with adolescents in school-based settings. Currently I work the majority of the week at Santa Cruz Community Health while also running a private practice. I obtained my Master’s of Social Work in 2021 at San Jose State University and am an LCSW.

In my free time, I enjoy exercise classes including heated pilates and strength training. I enjoy eating good food and enjoy spending time with loved ones. You can also find me scrolling and searching slow fashion clothing or dancing to Bad Bunny.
